• Avoid getting a drastic haircut right before your session and schedule grooming a week in advance.

• Stick to wrinkle-free clothing in solid colors that pair nicely with your complexion. Be mindful of flesh tones that might blend in with your face.

• While black looks good, navy and lighter dark colors often create a more flattering and photogenic effect. Jewel tones photograph beautifully!

• Blazers add polish. Crew necks look great if you don’t want to wear a button-up or tie. And, V-necks elongate necks.

• Don’t forget accessories like belts or pops of color!

• Ditch anything too tight, shiny, or covered in busy patterns.

• Armpit areas are tricky to photograph so don’t forget your sleeves!

• Shoes should be comfortable since you’ll be moving around.
